http://inthespacesinbetween.blogspot.com/2010/01/where-my-head-rested.html
I find myself often in the spaces in between. Where my head rested. Kindly reminded me of what has become an annual new year's blogging tradition: listing the cities I spent at least one night in during the past year. While the Recession roared on throughout 2009, it seems I still managed a good deal of travel. Here they are, in chronological order:. Grand Rapids, MI (January, September). Wichita, KS (March). San Francisco, CA (April). Sacramento, CA (April). Ottawa, IL (May, June). Rochester, NY (July).

I find myself often in the spaces in between. The (secret) life of an architect. With a career in architecture comes a life of glamor - at least from everyone else's point of view. In reality there are often more days that involve paperwork, product selection, and plumbing coordination than creative activity. However, every once in a while I have the opportunity to be involved in an out-of-the-ordinary design problem. Now on to more appliance selections! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). I find myself often in the spaces in between. Word clouds for a monday. Another blogger I follow led me to this beautiful and fun website: Wordle. You can input a body of text - or even just type in the URL of any blog - and out comes your very own personal word cloud work of art. You can change the font, colors, and size, and adjust the balance between horizontal and vertical words, rounded and straight edges. The image below is my first experiment: words taken directly from this very blog!
