Today, despite the rainy weather, I went hunting for a zinc based lip treatment so I can stop burning my lips. I already have one sun spot on my lip and get sores that no SPF lip balm I have tried will prevent. I came home and decided to try blending one of my favourite winter lipsticks in more-or-less equal portions of zinc creme. Fat of the Land.

It is such a easy process and there is a lot of room for innovation as you can add a variety of spices or even other veggies. As it was everyone's, excepting myself, first time we kept it simple today! The kids got in on the action- slicing cabbage and finally mixing and squeezing it in a bowl! She was quite proud of herself. We had two other mother daughter teams!
