MizRebecky's Recipes: Sweet and Sour Something
http://mizrebeckysrecipes.blogspot.com/2011/10/sweet-sour-something.html
March 6, 2015. Sweet and Sour Something. This is great sauce for Sweet and Sour Meatballs which I often take in a slow cooker to parties, or Sweet and Sour Chicken which I like to make at home. I bet it even works well with Pork. Serve it whichever way over rice, and you've got a meal that can't be beat. 2 cloves garlic, crushed. 1 cup vinegar 1 green pepper, cut in strips. 1 cup pineapple juice. 1/3 cup soy sauce. 8 ounce can of pineapple chunks, drained. Combine all ingredients except the pineapple.

Friday, April 15, 2011. Captain said "Bring out your Tar! Not only tar, but also varnish, paint. Caulking, mother’s polish. Hot water and elbow grease… all necessary ingredients in getting the Dark and Stormy ready for another season on the water. Most of the boat crew spent a Saturday at the captain’s home with all the above and more to do just that, ready the boat for the 2011 season. Jen Parillo took some pictures to share of the day. A short break for lunch. Brendan and I started by cleaning the swiv...

Miz Rebecky's Adventures: April 2010
http://mizrebecky.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, April 4, 2010. Total rant. living next to Norwich students sucks. I will Never, Never, Never! Move into a place again knowing college students are living next door. Please shoot me if I even consider it. Having an absentee landlord doesn't help the situation much either. I recall having a lot of fun in college, but i never recall being this rude and disrespectful of the neighbors. The trash is still where it was in November - only theres a lot more now - a good 15 or more bags of trash in the gar...

http://mizrebecky.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 26, 2011. Fort de la Presentation in Ogdensburg, NY. July 23-24 2011, we made the trip up to Ogdensburg again. This year is different. Usually the 27th Inniskilling goes as land troops, but this year they were supporting Springfield, VT's celebration. So the Dark and Stormy crew brought the boat instead and we had a blast. Miz Rebecky's Adventures: Do you sleep in the tents?
http://mizrebecky.blogspot.com/2011/12/do-you-sleep-in-tents.html
Sunday, December 18, 2011. Do you sleep in the tents? Do you sleep in the tents? This is one of those questions reenactors are asked quite often. Are most the tents occupied at night? Yes, most the tents have one or two people sleeping in them at night. Does every reenactor sleep in a tent at night? Labels: All about me. Accountant ...

http://mizrebeckysrecipes.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
April 25, 2013. 1 pound of boneless skinless chicken (more if you like). 1/4 cup of chicken stock or chicken broth. 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce. 1/4 cup soy sauce. 2/3 cup brown sugar. 1/4 tsp grated ginger. Remove as much fat as possible and put the chicken in the crock pot. Mix every thing else together in a bowl before pouring over chicken. Pour over the liquid and cook. I cooked overnight, 8 hours on low. If you let it cook on low just a bit longer it will start to fall apart when you stir the pot. Accoun...

MizRebecky's Recipes: March 2014
http://mizrebeckysrecipes.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
March 11, 2014. Here's one of those summer favorite recipes. This time of year its a nice reminder of summer. So its something different to make to stave off cabin fever. A tangy change from that sweet BBQ taste in a bottle, Miami Chicken is good baked, broiled or grilled. You'll get a slightly different flavor depending on how you cook it and what kind of chicken you use. If Baking, Double line the pan (it should have a lip around the edges). This also is good made with chicken wings for a party. Rollin...
