Young photojournalists from East Oakland met with young photojournalists from Balata, a camp within the West Bank of Palastine, during their Picture Balata tour. We also made a trip to the beach, which was particularly significant for the youth from Balata, who although live right by the Mediterranean Sea, have never seen the ocean due to lack of access by Israeli military. Friday, January 12, 2007. The Luxury of Giving. It isn't set in stone that if you have had something good down for you out of kindness that you have to return the favor, its just human nature in general you could say to do something in return. I look at it as setting the wheel in motion of kindness. Now granted not everyone will return your kindness but at least you can feel good for doing something to at least touch someone's life.
