http://runningmonky.blogspot.com/2011/01/disneyworld-12-marathon-race-1-of-goofy.html
Monday, January 10, 2011. DisneyWorld 1/2 Marathon (Race #1 of the Goofy Race and a Half Challenge). Saturday morning came early, we didn't check into the hotel until later than planned as we had been meeting up with other runner friends almost immediately after arriving in Orlando. The alarm at 3 am was not welcome! We waited for our corral to move forward to start our wave. The first 2 miles went fast, this was where we found Piglet and Pooh, we waited in line for 10 minutes! Every Reason To Stay: Happy Birthday Daddy!
http://everyreasontostay.blogspot.com/2014/10/happy-birthday-daddy.html
Friday, October 17, 2014. Today my dad would have been 61! I don’t talk about my dad much because I couldn't do it without crying (of course I am crying now). I am finally to the point that I can talk about my dad without getting upset mid sentence. So Here is my Dad! Everything went well, he had a few years where he was sick a lot and in the hospital but for the majority of my life he was healthy. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Life on the Run: June 2009
http://runningmonky.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 30, 2009. Somethings just hit you. Running is a road to self awareness and self reliance. You can push yourself to extremes and learn the harsh reality of your physical and mental limitations or coast quietly down a solitary path watching the Earth spin at your feet. But, when you are through, exhilarated and exhausted, at least for the moment everything seems right in the world. Monday, June 29, 2009. Later, we met back up at the beach and took the boys out into the ocean since it was eeri...

Every Reason To Stay: What a weekend!
http://everyreasontostay.blogspot.com/2014/09/what-weekend.html
Tuesday, September 9, 2014. What a weekend. I was a single mom this weekend and I thank GOD every day that I have an amazing husband and daddy for Henry. I admire all you single parents out there I defiantly wouldn't want to do it by myself. I did love the time just Henry and I. I didn't take many pictures I am so bad about taking pictures. Friday, we hung out at the house and played with Gary (our dog). Have you seen cuter bed head! Got to love Saturday Morning Cartoons. Saturday, is when the fun began!

Friday, October 30, 2009. Pumpkins in the Park 5K. Monday, October 12, 2009. I also realize I've had this pain before, about 3-4 weeks after I gave up the gym. So, back to the gym I go as I am walking like a crippled old person. I have sympathy for them, this is painful! You don't realize how much is connected until you start running. Coach Nancy always tells us about the kinetic chain, well, my kinetic chain is telling me I need a stronger core and hips to help this one little area! Daytona 5K 1/24/09 i...

Life on the Run: Beach Palooza and Paul DeBruyn 30K
http://runningmonky.blogspot.com/2010/11/beach-palooza-and-paul-debruyn-30k.html
Monday, November 15, 2010. Beach Palooza and Paul DeBruyn 30K. I have 3 marathons between next weekend and the end of January. I have 3 half marathons left also, but these don't concern me. It's the monster runs, the marathons. I don't want to do them anymore. What changed in me since April when I finished my first and LOVED the experience so much I was ready to sign right up for another? Was it the fact for the first time ever my brother said he was proud of me? I can't answer it anymore. Run to the Sun...

Life on the Run: October 2010
http://runningmonky.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 4, 2010. Wine and Dine half marathon. I’m hoping they will be at St Pete, I have it on my wish list! We finished as they were closing out the expo, poor Barry hung out with us! We all headed to Wolfgang Puck for some carbs before heading home. They had face painting, balloon animals, the build kit, plant your own palm tree, fire truck, police motorcycle, coast guard boat, wildlife department bulldozers, and free drinks and hot dogs! The race itself was good, we both were tired and neither...
