Tuesday, October 14, 2014. We had such a great time on our trip to Gulf Shores over Fall Break. We've missed the last two summers, so the boys hardly even remembered what the beach was like, and it was Winnie's first time ever. First time in beach sand! First time toes got tickled by a wave! The cousins all had a lot of fun together. CeCe and Winnie dressed alike to go to the outlet mall one day. (On a side note, just look at Winnie's calves! Another girly first: pink painted toenails! She was so excited.

House #1 For Sale. In 2013 we bought a lot of land not knowing what we were going to do with it. It was too good of a deal to pass up and even if we didn't build on it, we could sell it for a profit. In December of 2013, we decided we DID want to build on the land. We would sell our house, sell my parents' house and we'd all move in together and take care of each other. I'm also thankful for a bowl that once took residence in my mom's kitchen, and how it brings out a joy in me to have had sweet parents for a little while on this earth. House #1 For Sale. Monday, February 4, 2013. As I begin to tell you about the baby shower I hosted at my house Saturday, I realized that all the hostesses have blogs and we're probably all going to be writing about our fun time! Monday, August 31, 2015. Beatrix Potter Baby Shower. On Sunday afternoon, I helped throw a baby shower for my friend Julie's third daughter. The nursery is decorated in a Beatrix Potter theme, so that was the theme we chose for the shower. We had fun little touches everywhere, like having the guests sign a Beatrix Potter book for her. The girl who hosted even made this adorable table cloth! She will be named Logan Katherine. Isn't that beautiful? Heather was our youngest attendee and behaved so well.
