I have eight more radiation sessions to go. yes, I'm counting down. M J Allen and The Boys. Wednesday, December 31, 2008. New Year, new beginnings. Thank God that Jennifer had the Stage I Lymphoma when at one point they thought it was Sarcoma. We went from a surgery that was going to remove a portion of her thigh, at least a year's worth of physical therapy to get the leg functional, and still a scary prognosis to 3 chemo treatments, 20 radiation treatments, and then CURED! M J Allen and The Boys. Saturday, March 28, 2009. I talked to my oncologist this week and he was definitely able to ease my mind a little more about the scans. He said that it's not abnormal for the PET to show some activity if we scanned too soon post-treatment. He'll definitely watch me closer, but we're not worrying! Those scans can't really come quick enough (mental thing) for someone going thru what you have been thru, but you will see, results will be good! April 1, 2009 at 10:02 PM.
