Janovi: August 2014
http://jjanovi.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 27, 2014. My sister gave me this wall hanging quilt. I just added the green flowery print just to make it bigger to fit the wooden rod. I machine quilt it with some simple hearts triangles and feather designs. It is a very cheerful and colorful quilt! This is on my staircase landing so every time I walk up or down the stairs, this cheerful quilt is there to greet me! Thursday, August 21, 2014. Monday, August 18, 2014. Sunday, August 3, 2014. http://jjanovi.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Sunday, January 26, 2014. I have started my first quilt of the year! This is for MIL who will be celebrating her 70th birthday. This quilt will have a total of 90 blocks. This cut out fabrics are for the King's Crown blocks. The other alternate block which I am thinking of combining is Crossroads to Jericho. Both of the blocks have a diagonal look in the centre of the block. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

Janovi: Irish Chain...Single quilt
http://jjanovi.blogspot.com/2015/03/irish-chainsingle-quilt.html
Wednesday, March 25, 2015. Irish Chain.Single quilt. This was one of my UFOs which was tucked away in the cupboard. It was all basted and was just waiting to be quilted! I finally decided to take it out and quilt it! Needed some space in the cupboard for more stuff! I did simple straight lines with the even foot across the squares and free hand motion quilting for the flowers. As I am still not an expert in that, I actually did draw the flowers but didn't quilt it exactly on the line!

Monday, March 16, 2015. I did some simple quilting on the quilt top. My sister added the extra hearts and figures on the top to make it more interesting. We tried to make it colourful because African fabric colors are very bright and colorful! I love the choice of colors on this quilt! I think my sister did a fantastic job in chosing the colors! We gave Branden his quilt on Christmas day. My sister, Adeline, on the left! We decided everyone should write a message for him a the back of the quilt.

Janovi: September 2014
http://jjanovi.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Wednesday, September 24, 2014. Made two more dresses for Tara. The pink paisley dress is another variation of the first dress I made for her. This one I added ruffles at the hem. However, for the other dress, I added sleeves which is not in the pattern given. I was trying to be a bit more daring and see if I could actually do it! The 'Ripper' tool is my best friend for now! Saturday, September 20, 2014. My latest addition.Brother 3034D. And wore it the same evening to a wedding dinner! Using this machine...

http://jjanovi.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
Thursday, May 14, 2015. I wanted to post these pictures of the finished quilt but I couldn't do it until now! Had a bit of a problem with my laptop. I also wanted to show the true color of the quilt as I noticed the color didn't really turn out well. As you can see, the picture on the right showed off all the colors on the quilt. The backing is a green fabric with tiny yellow flowers to brighten the earthy colors on the front! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). I wanted to post these pictures of the finished q.
