Monday, March 1, 2010. Greetings from Fargo.er.Abilene, Texas. From Snowy Abilene. Well, actually it snowed again last week. Today is cold and rainy, but not without snow flurries. We did have a few this afternoon. Brrr! We're not used to this weather in Abilene. When it snowed Christmas Eve and Matt went out to get snow boots and gear for the kids, I asked him to buy bigger sizes. I could just see us only using them once. But I was SO WRONG! We've used the snow gear plenty this year.

Friday, December 25, 2009. A White Christmas Eve. What a fun day! This morning we woke to snow! Amazing since yesterday I literally broke a sweat running last minute errands. It was in the 70s! Our poor kids had coats and hats, but only knitted mittens and no boots. So, Matt made a quick run to Wal-Mart before it got too bad outside. He did great - just look at those cute snow boots and waterproof mittens (who am I kidding, everything got soaked! What a beautiful memory making time!

Tuesday, December 29, 2009. Fort Worth Museum of Natural History. One of the best gifts this year were tickets to the newly remodeled Fort Worth Museum of Natural History. The other "best" was that just about the whole family was able to go together.even my dad! Here he is with Matt and Aidan at one of the hands on exhibits. This one was about creating energy. The kids fed both Santa and his reindeer this year, leaving "food" on the snow-covered lawn. Monday, March 1, 2010. The Wedding of Q and U and a very handsome Best Man. Today was the wedding of Q and U. So precious! This is why we send him to Abilene Christian Schools, so he can participate in such fun things! Last night a few of the moms and I decorated the chapel at a nearby church for the wedding. We made the balloon arch! Then we decorated the school library for the reception. I'm biased, but isn't he handsome? No wedding is complete without bubbles. Love this picture:.
