We have been away in the UK for some eight weeks because that's where our kids are and of course our grandchildren. Of course this is why I have not added to any of my blogs. Likewise the Avro Vulcan. I saw this aircraft in Christchurch, New Zealand around 1958 and if I remember correctly it crashed a on its return to England. What I did not remember was the noise and power!
