First, my pseudo-definition of crowd-sourcing:. Taking little bits of information from lots of individuals and smart devices, piecing it all together, and using the resulting set of data to make intelligent decisions. 1 Google mines GPS-enabled phones for speed and computes road congestion. It's sort of like Word or Excel - lots of "features" that sound great, but in reality 90% of people won't use them. Google is simple, and people get simple. I'm willing to bet people won't be saying "just bing it" anytime soon. To me there...

Thursday, November 16, 2006. A good friend of us, Willem, send us an article written by Rory Carroll, a journalist for the Guardian. In his article How I never quite fell for South Africa. He is quite negative. 3 Years ago I would not have agreed with him at all, only on the. Nowadays I do understand more about the problems he's talking about. We experienced some of these problems quite intensively and I do even agree with him on some matters. And you will share your thoughts about it. Joost. At home I s...

I might consider discarding a shot, only to find out that it's someone's favorite of the set. I don't think art should be made to please others, but it helps if you ever want to sell it. I'm not there yet (against Addie's and Anders's best attempts), but wouldn't mind to make a penny or two someday. Indecisi...
