Saturday, April 24, 2010. The boys enjoyed coloring Easter eggs with mom the week before Easter. They really enjoyed smelling the stinky vinegar! Instead of kites, Julia got a new spring hat, doggy with bunny ears and a new book. I think she likes her gifts too. After church, we went to grandma and grandpa's house for Easter dinner. Tom's Easter tradition is lamb. For my sake, he opted to cook a turkey instead (for which I am grateful! April has been such a busy month, I can't believe it's almost over!

Sunday, February 28, 2010. James recently started a tae kwon do class. He loves it! This past week, James earned his very first stripe for his belt. They go through a series of stripes before they can adance in rank (I think 10 stripes). He was very excited and proud to show off his blue stripe and some of his cool karate moves! Tuesday, June 29, 2010. We opened up the cabin in McCall during the first weekend in June. We left on Friday and came back on Sunday. As we were packing the car to leave, it started to rain. Matt tried to give me an out and said we could go the next weekend (the cabin is very cold when it's raining! I stood by the fire. Oh well, we seemed to get caught up on a few Disney movies! Monday, March 29, 2010. The joys of being a kid! We spent the weekend before St. Patrick's Day making and decorating sugar cookies. Those that know me know that I couldn't eat any of them, but it was fun watching my crew decorate them and enjoy all the goodies they'd piled on. I put three heart shapes together and cut a stem to make shamrocks. James loves frosting cookies- he seems to really enjoy making messes! March has been such a busy month.
