The letter I’ve been waiting for. My referral to the hospital to see if I’m eligible for a bone anchored hearing aid. This sh*t just got real! It’s a mix of emotions but mainly good ones… I think! It plays on my mind all day. What if it can’t be done? What if it can? What will it be like? Will I be able to cope? It’s going to be noticeable so people are going to ask questions. Am I bothered if they do? What if I don’t like it? Will they shave my head? I was babysitting my niece and I didn’t hear her cry.
