What Was I Thinking? Monday, March 24, 2008. Well, while I REEEEEEEEALLY need to be cleaning my house, I'm sitting here trying to catch up on my blog reading and posting! I thought I'd pass along some pictures of our Easter weekend. We spent the weekend at my mom and dad's house. My brother and his family came in Friday night and stayed through Saturday night, so we did our egg dying and hunt on Saturday. It was fun. Here are a couple of pictures from that:. When you call upon the Lord and prayerfully seek His will, He will give you wisdom and perspective. When you make God's priorities your priorities, He will direct your steps and calm your fears. What Was I Thinking? Friday, August 15, 2008. I know I haven't updated in ages, and I still really don't have time. Lots of stuff going on in our lives. I have "first day of school" pictures, but I haven't taken the time to load them on my computer yet. The kids are loving school. Macy is in 2nd grade, and Brady started K4. He's really happy. He was ready! I wasn't, but he was. I've since gone back to work full time. What an adjustment! I haven't worked full time in over 7 years! Have a great weekend!

What Was I Thinking? Monday, April 28, 2008. How easy is it to praise God when a situation has a happy ending? For me to experience joy and exclaim "Praise God! And know that if the situation had turned out completely opposite of how I wanted, I'm still called to exclaim "Praise God! Would I have been so inclined to shout it from the rooftops if the story had a different outcome? That has really given me something to think about! Right now, I'm thankful for my precious nephew. It means a lot to us all!

So I very casually turn around and look at him, not meaning to glare if I am, and say, "Uh, no, do you have something you want to tell me? I will keep everyone posted. SURPRISE!

Monday, July 23, 2007. Having her here this week reminded me of all these things and how much I love and miss her. I felt that "Comfortable" feeling that I hadn't felt in along time when she was here. Bonds like that are not very common and I am so thankful for her! Those kind of friends are hard to come about.
