Monday, October 18, 2010. Joe got home today from school to find the house filled with a terrible stench. It seems as if Gus got a bit sick (vomit and poop) and it was all over him and the inside of his kennel. Joe did his best to get the mess out of the house (used a whole can of Febreeze! Saturday, August 20, 2011. I'm always amazed at how much time we need to go over rules and proedures.this first week is always tough. We have started into the curriculum, but we are still working on our procedures. Our transitions are often slow between classes. By the end of week two we are better and in one month's time we will be a well oiled machine. Sunday, October 03, 2010. Gus Gruber, a 13 week old yellow lab, joined the Gruber family on Sunday, September 26. Gus was born on Thursday, June 17, 2010.the same day as Don and Lillian's wedding anniversary, Sue and Steve Dzubay's wedding anniversary, and the day we left for Alaska! We started out with a Date Night on Friday! We went out to supper at BJ's Brewhouse and to see The Avengers. Both were excellent! Sunday started out with finding a wonderful picture and two Mother's Day cards from my boys! After church was lunch at Cafe Express and home for a nap. Supper, Jonathan grilled steaks for us.
