Monday, July 27, 2009. Shortly after getting settled in at my parents house we headed up to Silver Lake for the 4th of July holiday. I've been watching Layla on Wednesdays, and Gavin seemed to think that he was a baby too. He just went to the doctor yesterday and he still only weighs 20 lbs., so I'm not too concerned about him breaking the bouncy seat since he's the same weight as some babies! I cant believe it - I found some bloggers from Michigan! And Dutch too most likely! I thought I was the only one! You are probably closer to my daughters age (she is at Calvin) but oh well, I am getting closer! Hugs from Michigan,.

Auntie Em, Auntie Em. The newest addition was welcomed into our family early this morning. After a couple of weeks of bed rest my Sister, Meredith and her Husband, Joe welcomed. Layla Belle, 3lbs., 12oz., 16". Mere was due on August 4 th. And with Gavin I was due on Sept. 18 th. And Gavin was born on July 18 th. That's just pretty crazy; the whole thing is crazy, what is in our blood? I just got back from the hospital and she looks great and is also SUPER CUTE! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Monday, December 22, 2008. The snow has come and come and come. It just doesn't stop. On Saturday we had a Christmas party at my mom and dad's. We packed up all the winter gear for the kids and had a great time out in the snow. Or should I say, Jason had a good time out in the snow. Monday, June 1, 2009. I need a few moments of your time to rant and rave for awhile. I am sitting here sleepless in a house that is crawling with illness. Thus the issue of my rant. Last Monday I noticed that Loryn had a fever. Per the doctor's policies I waited until Thursday to bring her in (based on the theory of a fever needs to run for 3 days before being seen). They checked her over and found nothing wrong with her. So we left the office. Why do I hate the ER? I hate that there is no reasonable way...

Friday, July 24, 2009. Mallory cried even though she accomplished everything Mrs. Helms asked her to do. She was cute to watch. After it was done she would say, "That wasn't so bad". Loryn waited patiently for her turn. By the third morning she was asking why she always had to go first. I thought she meant in her group but she really wanted to know why her and Mallory were the first group to go. They were always cold! Maddy took her swimming very seriously. Logyn actually taking off and swimming!
