What were they thinking? September 16, 2010. The city of West Allis doesn’t have a whole lot going for it. Nobody. Take out at least 3 stoplights, probably 4 or 5. Perhaps they’re striving to create a pedestrian mall atmosphere like State Street in Madison or the Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica (just the word promenade makes it sound fancy.)
