You wouldn't say that if your father were here.". Sunday, July 12, 2015. Happy 70th to Linda! Linda and I go way back - back to the births of our sons Noah and Andrew. And it was a wonderful relationship for those mothering years to have a daily debriefing as Linda dropped Andrew off each morning. And someone to commiserate with at the end of each day. It's fun to see Andrew now and again on the pages of FB. And fun to sift through old photos and see his elfin face pop up! Those boys were lots of fun.

It's a mad, mad, mad, mad world. But today it's my world. Taking pictures of the kids is always work. There are usually some threats and some bribes, and lots of cajoling. But the one picture that is nice is worth the 335 others. AHowever, the "outtakes" show lots of personality, so I usually keep them too. I guess they didn't think I was serious. When I said, "The next person that eats out of the kitchen will be scrubbing floors.". I came home to three girls eating in Aspen's room. Wouldn't it be nice?

It's a mad, mad, mad, mad world. But today it's my world. The Art of Legos. While in Topeka, we went to the Mulvane Art Museum at Washburn University to see an exhibit that used Legos as the medium. We all love Legos. And it was fun to see what could be made with these little plastic blocks. Hazel thought it was fun to either copy the pose of the piece or react to it. Cool mosaic. Afterwards there were Legos to play with. I think it was the kids favorite part. You all seem to be having a fine time anyway!

Thursday, March 15, 2012. Third Time is a Charm ( we are crossing our fingers! Victor went into surgery this morning for his third set of tubes .poor little guy. He was so happy to leave the hospital. Once we got into the elevator to head home he kept saying to me over and over, "I like my home! He must be feeling better all ready. Monday, December 26, 2011. Cutting A Christmas Tree. We had such a fun time heading down to Spring City to cut a Christmas tree with Grandpa. It was a beautiful sunny day, not even too cold. We found a perfect tree right away and enjoyed the hot cocoa and donuts and good company. Dad brought along his Norwegian Spark ( sled of sorts). We had a very fun Saturday.
