Well, I didn’t end up reviewing Deathless, mainly because it was so beautifully flawed that it defied description (I feel like people wouldn’t have had much time for BDSM and two-timing during the Siege of St. Petersburg. Best wishes to her. Never thought about how many candles it would have taken to illuminate an 1840s ballroom! Hope they had fire insurance. And I was reminded of an essay my wonderful son Mike wrote in middle school, starring Queen Victoria.
