I worked with Plaftik Studio. On bringing this older campaign back to life. The goal was to keep the overall look of the characters the same, but updating everything to current CG standards. This involved redoing all the textures, shaders, and partially models as well. I was also setting up lighting and rendering templates for the spots, animating a couple of shots and attending the live action shoot for capturing HDRIs and other set data acquisition.

Final project during my studies for Master's degree at NCCA. Project was made in collaboration with Tomas Slancik. Pre-production and shoot were handled by both of us together and each of us was in charge of all the CG and Comp for two girls. My responsibility was the first (water, ice) and third one (roots, dessert) including the same two effects in the logo at the end. Models: Cherry Tunsakul, Natalie Fish, Phoebe Ella Dykes, Kendra Okios.

Dinamo - Other Projects. Whilst at Dinamo I also worked on a couple of other side projects. The first was a pitch piece for the BBC's new version of the Borrowers which involved two shots (I only have one of them unfortunately as the other is lost on a magnetic backup somewhere), it was great fun to work on and a massive shame we didn't get to take it any further. I was responsible for the environment creation in this scene, and modelled and textured the piece of wood to stand up to an extreme close up.

357 Magnum Tri Revolvers. Renders of the revolvers for a character I'm working on - I think I've just about got the render's down to where like them - I only used a beauty, AO and ZDepth as I rolled spec, shadows and reflections into my beauty pass. This is the first time I've ever tried using Vue and I've come away very impressed with what you can create with it in a short space of time. It's interface is extremely easy to get to grips with and gives you plenty of control over the scene you're creating without drowning you in details. The scenes above were built, lit, textured and rendered fully in view before being completed in Photoshop. The ZDepth and Alpha passes it created automatically as part of the render.
