Friday, December 5, 2008. My mom came to visit the kids. Kaeden had a blast with her! She was a lot of help for me - I don't think I would have gotten the Christmas tree up without her this year! Kennedy finally got to meet Great Grandma Dar at Thanksgiving! We wish we could see her more often! Proud Grandpa Bob - He's a natural! I wonder if we can get him to change a diaper! Grandpa Al came to visit with Jenna and his girlfriend, Laurie, and Laurie's daughter Tori. Kaeden put on quite a show for him!

Sunday, November 23, 2008. Grandma Lynne has been staying with us for the past few weeks. We have enjoyed having her here! She has spent a lot of time with Katy also. For those of you that don't know, Nate's sister Katy has been in the hospital for the past 3 weeks due to having some complications with her twin pregnancy. She is now 23 weeks pregnant. The twins are growing and doing well, but we want to keep those baby boys in as long as possible! Oooh how scary for Nate's sister! Welcome Home, Kennedy!

Friday, December 5, 2008. Update on the Essings. The picture isn't the best, but I had to post it. Katy is still on bed rest but was able to come home earlier this week! She had a doctor appointment today and it looks like she is handling the transition just fine! She is happy to be home - especially since her husband is also on "bed rest." Luke fell off a ladder last weekend and broke his knee cap. He had surgery on Tuesday and will be in a cast for 6 weeks! I think they are enjoying the royal treatment!
