Again, your prayers have carried me through another close call. My infection has responded very well to the two antibiotics! Last week, Dr. Bauer thought the infection was much better but wanted to keep me on the antibiotics for one more week. The big test will be tomorrow! Again, I love each of you more than you will ever know!

Sorry I didn't get this update out yesterday, but I had some type of allergic reaction in my right arm during my procedure yesterday; so, they pushed a ton of Benadryl through my IV and I literally slept all day and night. So much has happened since August! First, I had my 6-month scans in February and they showed NO cancer! I absolutely love going to work each day! Friday, January 27, 2012. For the first time since December 1997 (the year Adam and I got engaged), we went skiing in Colorado for Christmas! We had the absolute BEST time! Mom and Dad, Whit, Matt, Abby, and Parker went too. We haven't spent Christmas together ever. So, it was doubly fun! We can't wait to go back! The kids and Adam picked up skiing so much faster this year! The weather was perfect! We could not have asked for a better Christmas this year and are so thankful for this experience!

Tuesday, February 7, 2012. A few Sundays ago, MC got an idea at Sunday School. She wanted to organize a donation for our small group to give to our church food pantry. So, all day she worked on the list of items for each family to give. She looked up prices of the items on the computer. Jack got to compete in the District Spelling Bee in January. Saturday, December 17, 2011. Jack auditioned and got to play in the 5 th. Grade production of Peter Pan. It was absolutely wonderful! He played John and remembered all of his lines, got to wear a top hat and sword fight on stage! He was a natural! Thank you so much to all of our friends and family that came to see him. Monday, July 30, 2012. We went to the beach again this year! The usual beach crew was in full force! The Freemans, Millers and Kees all drove out together and had SO much fun! We stayed at Turquoise Place this year in Orange Beach. It was really fun, so many new things to do there! There was a grill on the deck so our husbands were able to grill extra good food for us! They made really great fresh seafood dishes every night! There was a hot tub on the deck, which the kids loved! The lazy river was fun!

Monday, June 25, 2012. We haven't been able to go a lot this year. So Adam and I took off on Friday and went for the day. We had such a great family day! We even shopped the outlets before heading out! And on the way home, we stopped in Holiday Island and ate supper with Grandma and Grandpa! Crooked room in Grandpa's Mansion. It was hard to stand up!
