Six word stories, small stones, haiku, and other poems. Six Word Saturday 5/30. Was this my last day of school forever? My contract was up at the end of this school year, which was Wednesday, May 27th. Therefore, I am again unemployed. I am considering changing careers, to have less stress in my life. If I don’t find a different job by the end of the summer, I may go back to doing speech therapy in the schools. You can see more six word stories by clicking on the button above. Six word stories, small stones, haiku, and other poems. Six Word Saturday 8/1. Good news about health and job. On Monday, I got the results of my bone scan: no new lesions, and the lesions that I already had are improving! That means the chemo is working. When I saw the oncologist on Wednesday, he said the lesions were healing, and that doesn’t happen very often. I will see that doctor again after two months instead of one. So awesome to hear, and an answer to prayers. Praise God! Six Word Saturday 7/25.

Just another WordPress.com site. I really liked making my square for today! It was easy and fun to get in that granny-square-zen mode…. Clearly something went wrong in that top row there, but ah well. I really like the ways the colors came together. Though I was not a fan of trying to weave those ends in at the end of this square. Just another WordPress.com site. Well, I guess tonight had some pros and cons. I finished my first ami doll. And it was absolutely awful, haha. So I moped around for a bit feeling like a crochet failure – so I decided to move on to yet another project and made a granny square. I’d tried a granny square about a month ago and was actually moderately proud of it… But when I look back now, I can see how much better I’ve already gotten in just a month.
