I thought that was an appropriate quote for the beginning of Week 2 of the 8 Week Challenge. Week 1 went well, there are 11 of us total doing the challenge and as a group we lost 19 pounds! One of us lost 6 pounds the first week! Because it prevents diabetes. Because you want to be a good example to your kids. Because it reduces your risk of cancer.

It has been a while since I posted, we have been working hard getting settled into a work routine and organizing the house now that the weather is nicer. As I reflect on my GAME plan that I developed at the beginning of this course, I am reminded once again that I tend to jump feet first into projects that I plan. The framework of the GAME strategy. I plan to teach and use the GAME plan with my third grade students when they research important United States monuments and landmarks. Students will choose a state monument to research, gather images and then create a digital story.
