Trip North – Kyrenia and Bellepais Abbey. October 15, 2014. Both Kyrenia and Bellepais Abbey should not be missed because as our guide says they have the “Wow” Factor. The tour north was much shorter than the one to Famagusta and from a scenic point of view more beautiful. Our guide was an American archaelogist called Dave who had come here on a dig many moons ago and stayed, now acting as a tour guide and one senses that he loves the place and that it offers him lots of opportunity to explore the past.
