This is the view from the parking lot where we leave from. We have to snowmobile about 4 miles in to their cabin, it is the only way to get there in the winter. Wednesday, November 10, 2010. First Day of School! August 25, 2010. Riley started his first day of 1st grade today! It's his first time eating lunch at school! He wasn't nervous at all, but I was concerned about whether he was going to be able to handle it, he did just fine. I guess he's just growing up and doesn't need me as much anymore. Tuesday, May 17, 2011. For Halloween this year, Chase was a turtle. Haha, obviously he was an elephant! And I must say he was a really cute elephant. For Riley, he wanted to be a skeleton so I made him a skeleton costume by using black sweats and ironing on some white felt. Chase had some black sweats too, so I went ahead and made him one too. Now you can join with us in the fun! Wednesday, May 30, 2012. There is a ditch that runs the length of the cemetery and there was a tiny bit of water in it. The kids had a ball playing in it. I loved it because I use to do the same thing as a little girl. We also went to the Orem Cemetery to my Nana's grave. She died almost 13 years ago. Wednesday, March 31, 2010. Riley's 1st Science Fair. Riley had his 1st Science Fair this year. Each student in his kindergarten class picked an arctic animal. Then they had to draw a picture and write 3 facts about their animal. Then they had to make a model of that animal. Riley chose the Killer Whale.
