Shimano SH-R132L Road Shoes. Long time no post! I've been busy with many things and been kind of lazy with this blogging thing but whatever, maybe I'll start posting more. Anyways, so many of my fixed gear friends have started to go road. I suppose its more practical but i just think fixed is so fun. I'm not the type to do barspins and wheelies but I'm on the roadie side of the spectrum. That and I dont want to spend more than $2000 on a nice road bicycle. So far they're perfect!

The Murasaki is a custom Kinfolk Track bike that features Tange No.1 Tubing and a custom lug set. It is only one of many custom frames that the Kinfolk Bicycle Company has made in the past. The Murusaki features a silver Velocity wheelset laced to Dura Ace hubs, radially spoked in the front and traditionally spoked in the back. It also features a Sugino 75 crankset and a black Brooks Professional saddle. Kinfolk Bicycle Company creates custom track frames by hand based on the specifications of the buyer.

Road Cycling via Track Bike. I've taken an interest in long distance cycling on a fixed gear. It seems a bit more challenging than using a real road bike. (but a lot more fun! I stumbled upon these guys. When i was browsing through some blogs, mainly prolly's. I'm not really the type of person to do barspinzz and wheelies around town in skinny jeans and messenger bags. I'm more of the type to put a road jersey on and just ride - and these guys are doing exactly that!

Well I just wanted to share my current ride with you guys. It rides very smooth. Omniums really make a difference, or rather, the external bottom bracket. I'd highly recommend either the SRAM Omniums or the SRAM S300 Courier. Both come with external GXP bottom brackets so the ride with be smoooooooth. Anyways, this bike is very light. Lighter than all of my previous bikes. I scavenged around and put this bike together with decent components. I'm real happy the way it turned out.
