A Note from Carrie. Life with Boys! A Note from Carrie. Life with Boys! Thursday, October 21, 2010. I am so thankful for her and all the work she does to help people like me learn how to do this! With a family of 6 (almost 7), living on one income. this is going to be a huge benefit to our family! This picture shows all the items from my first week of coupon shopping at Rid-Aid. I was so excited to only pay $20.52 for everything here! This picture is one of those days. I made $6.12! I pray that they all ...

The Deutschland Huntleys: Summer Bobsled!
http://huntleysingermany.blogspot.com/2010/07/summer-bobsled.html
Saturday, July 17, 2010. Today we went with some friends to the small town of Pottenstein in a mountainous area called the Fränkische Schweiz, or Franconian Switzerland, about an hour north of where we live. As you can see, it is a beautiful place. One of the best things about Pottenstein is the sommerrodelbahn. It is sort of like bobsledding in the summer time! Check out some of our footage from the bobsled-like track. Perhaps this can be one more way for us to entice you to come visit us!

A Note from Carrie. Life with Boys! A Note from Carrie. Life with Boys! Friday, May 29, 2009. How to tell if your a motorcycle man. We were at DQ. Yesterday and Little Bill said, "Mommy. I think that man over there is a motorcycle man". Without being able to see the man from where I was sitting I wondered what made my 5 year old think of this. So I asked him, "Why do you think he is a motorcycle man? And said, "Because he colors on himself." Bill and I were laughing. Its so funny how observant.

Monday, July 18, 2011. We leave Germany tomorrow. Here are a few of the things, that make us smile to remember in addition to all our new friends. In no particular order…. A truly international and loving church. A kind boss who gave me freedom to pursue my research. A generous foundation that funded all of my research endeavors. Curry (...

The Deutschland Huntleys: August 2009
http://huntleysingermany.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, August 30, 2009. On the train between München and Füssen. In the town of Füssen looking up toward Neuschwanstein. There are three ways to reach the castle: ride in the enclosed back of a large truck, horse and carriage, or walk. We walked to the top. Here we are in front of a little waterfall on the way to the castle. The walk was about a mile long up a steep paved road. In icy conditions, walking is the only way to reach the castle. Monday, August 24, 2009. This is the famous gate at the entranc...
