Tuesday, November 25, 2014. While Thanksgiving is only a couple of days away, I find I am more excited to decorate our home for Christmas. This is our second year in our current home, and I really enjoyed decorating for Christmas last year. Is my back up plan (OK, Terrain might have to be plan A because, well- SO PRETTY! Tuesday, March 31, 2015. My birthday earlier in March was made very special by my family and my coworkers alike! The boys took me in to the city on the Saturday before for pizza and then to Cafe Lalo on the upper west side. Then at work on Monday (my actual birthday), my work family brought in a bunch of treats to celebrate. Monday, May 11, 2015. Things you do for great ice cream. I've been following Ample Hills Creamery on Instagram. On Montague St. for Mother's Day brunch, and then continued along to Pier 5 in the Brooklyn Bridge Park. The weather turned from warm and cloudy to hot and sunny, so this ice cream was more delectable than I ever imagined as I took each step along the way. Greg and I both had the "Salute! Blueberry Limoncello sorbet. Worth the walk over the bridge and to Pier 5. #MothersDay. Sunday, May 3, 2015.

Saturday, September 20, 2014. Old denim gets a new use. This is a pretty cool use of old denim. Madewell is also part of the program, as are a few universities around the country. Bring your old jeans to the store, and they send them in to Blue Jeans Go Green to be used to make insulation for communities in need. This year I planted my first square foot garden. I planted peppers, jalapenos, eggplant, watermelon, plum tomatoes and cherry tomatoes.
