My Grad School Journey. Ode to the Megapode. June 15, 2010. 8212; rustfam @ 1:45 pm. Ode to the Megapode. Encyclopedia Americana, you disappoint me. A single photo, black and white. Only one source to document your history. Two lonely paragraphs to reference your life. Now we must take flight. To Wikipedia, our new delight. Where color photos overwhelm our senses. And we learn many facts about your defenses. Your mound so useful in supporting your heavy eggs. 500 edits to your page, but some on shaky legs.

Okay, so the first podcast I listened to in class – required some critical listening (aka sound literacy) — really who were these guys? I can see where in this particular podcast. Would be a good way to get a group together to discuss books/movies – a 21st century approach to a book club. Now the second one. Was a much higher quality and since it was just a reading of Shakespeare. Now on to videopodcasting.

One of the main ideas that stuck out to me in this article was that “39% of online teens share their own artistic creations online”. If many of our students are more comfortable expressing themselves in a digital way, shouldn’t we be fostering technological ways of creating reading and writing that will translate into the CRC testing? Confessions of a New Middle School Teacher. June 15, 2010. Filed under: . by Richardson. 8212; ldkramer @ 5:53 am. I’m not sure when it started but every time I entered a search word into the Google bar, Wikipedia. Was the first link to knowledge.
