I had just asked my Grandma if she thought I was having a boy or a girl. She said, "Girl.I hope! She was thrilled a couple months later to find out she was right. Happy 5 years, babe. Grown so much in such a short time. We're in it for the long haul. Thankful for the in-my-face blessing that is you, every day. 1,000 miles and some dear friends. We had a little getaway to Indy and Cincinnati. Even though traveling with a toddler was exhausting, it sure was fun. Nice to switch gears for a bit- clear the mind; focus on what matters. We had been craving uninterrupted family time, and weeee got it. Plus we got to see some of our dearest friends. Always a good thing!

The smell of the farm sure made me miss Kansas! My favorite part were the Mara’s or I guess in English we call them the “ Patagonian mara”. Are there Mara’s in America?
