The Mary Morton Parsons Foundation welcomes proposals for permanent, capital projects from non-profit organizations involved in:. Civic and Community Needs. Social Services and Welfare. In addition, the Foundation may, at the discretion of the Board of Directors, initiate or request proposals for projects or programs consistent with the Foundation’s mission. Organizations that receive a grant are eligible to apply for a new grant five years from the date of receipt of the first payment on the last grant.

Spring cycle: March 15. Fall Cycle: September 15. All proposals are due by 5 pm Should a deadline fall on a weekend or holiday, proposals will be accepted until 5 pm on the first business day following. Mailed grants will be accepted if post-marked by the 15th. Please note that we do not accept proposals via facsimile or email. How your proposal is evaluated. We regret that the volume of applications precludes the Foundation from critiquing unsuccessful proposals. Your responsibilities as a grantee.

Successful grant proposals will include the following:. A brief description of the organization, including its mission and history. A concise description of the project, including specific purposes for which requested funds will be used. A detailed financial plan for the project, including the total cost, the specific amount requested, the amount raised to date, an estimate of post-completion operating costs and how those costs will be funded.
