HOOPLAS!: enCOURAGEment
http://christieholst.blogspot.com/2013/03/encouragement.html
You know how we are supposed to ENCOURAGE people in our lives? I feel like I do a pretty good job at it. I am generally a happy person with an upbeat personality. Seriously. I realize there are moments, but on average, yes- I am an encourager. Luckily, there are many things you can do today online instead of having to actually enter the gates and wander the nine circles of the BMV. But for me today, I am heading in. I am encouraging myself that I CAN DO THIS! They don't scare me! It's a title transfer!

HOOPLAS!: ASCD Conference
http://christieholst.blogspot.com/2013/03/ascd-conference.html
I am currently in Chicago at the ASCD national conference. There are approximately 10,400 educators in attendance here. Awesome! There are not enough hours in these two days to hear all the speakers I want to hear. But I have a feeling I am going to leave here VERY inspired. They are currently dying the river green! Being here gives me that itch to be back in "the city". Posted by christie holst. Cindy K. said her head was full, full, and full. Hope you had a great time! 3/20/13, 9:15 PM. 171; Older Post.

Blauvelt Babbles: Little Kitty - SOLC 26
http://blauveltbabbles.blogspot.com/2012/03/little-kitty-solc-26.html
A little blogging and a lot of babbling about life and teaching middle school! Monday, March 26, 2012. Little Kitty - SOLC 26. Be warned, this is a very sad story. She was lying in the middle of the road, dead. She was easily recognizable by her bright white paws. I couldn't believe it. I never thought that might be her fate. Sadly, I didn't think about her at all. After seeing her this morning, she has ever been on my mind. Should I have done something other than just let her go? Poor kitty and you!
