March 4, 2008. Because I can’t pretend you are smiling. I see your eyes are tearing. You look away, your thoughts are running. You sigh, you yawn to stop them coming. You wonder, you gaze just to stop thinking. You bundle up, you pretend to listen or sing. You try to laugh but it knots the insides. You wonder from places to places. March 10, 2008. I was right. I’m feeling 100% better about my creativity and motivation at school. I’m glad that it actually didn’t take long for me to get back into the swing of things. May 26, 2008. It’s getting pretty scary now that term 2 is ending. I’ve got a pretty solid idea about what I want to do for my demo reel, but I also feel like a toddler about to take his first steps. Time management has definitely been a factor throughout the course. I’ve gotten a pretty good control over it, but I still need to improve on it. May 26, 2008. I’m really happy with my progress so far in this course. I’m definitely not where I want to be, but compared to about 6 months ago, I feel that there’s a vast improvement. My level of confidence and comfort with the programs that we use, has gone up. All I need now, is more practice. March 31, 2008. At the beginning of the course, I had never thought of knowing how to render a scene properly as a difficult task. Right now, I’m definitely learning it the hard way. There are so many options and properties that you need to consider if you want your scene to be rendered in the most aesthetic way.
