Wednesday, March 14, 2012. I waited yesterday morning, looking out the back window for the sun to break through. Instead of the dramatic burst of light the darkness quietly gave way to various shades of gray. But what has to be remembered is that the sun still rose.it was still in the sky. And later on in the day the clouds did give way for the warmth of it's light to shine. For as we share abundantly in Christ's sufferings, so through Christ we share abundantly in comfort too. 2 Corinthians 1:5 ESV).

Friday, March 30, 2012. The loose tooth has given way to the first lost tooth and we no longer have a baby in the house. I don't know if it is her little gap toothed grin and overall adorableness that is squeezing my heart or the fact that she is growing up? Either way it is a bittersweet moment. Ive always loved her unruly curls. Made me think of that poem,. There once was a girl. Who had a little curl. Right in the middle of her forehead. And when she was good. She was very, very good.

Sunday, April 8, 2012. He Is Not Here. The darkness had come in the middle of the day with grief trailing behind, weaving and winding itself into their minds hiding His words. But in front of the grave light dawned and suddenly they remembered what he had said. Mercy and joy burst from the tomb like a deep belly laugh from the mouth of a child. Victory danced down the halls of time turning all of creation on its ear. Death, the greatest enemy, had been defeated. New life, everlasting life, had dawned.

Wednesday, April 27, 2011. Busy and loving it! Things have been pretty busy around here lately-but we love it that way! Here is a brief overview of some of the things we have been up to for the past few weeks. Caleb getting a little too friendly with Sawyer-Clint and Alex's baby girl. :) The Casabella's moved up to Philly, from Louisville, in March to join the Trinity Core Team. All of the kids are smitten with Sawyer! And again.the brotherly "love". These boys just love to wrestle. Caleb was NOT a fan.

Sunday, May 27, 2012. Introducing Levi Philip Knisely! We are so excited to announce the arrival of our third son! Born : May 26th at 7:30 am. Weight : 8 lbs. 7 oz. Length : 20 in. Proud big brothers Josiah and Caleb! Josiah loves this picture because Levi is yawning, even though it looks like he is wailing. :). Full head of hair! Precious baby feet. :). I had a quick, relatively easy delivery, for which I am so thankful! We will go home from the hospital tomorrow, and then the real fun begins!

Saturday, December 4, 2010. We have used Shutterfly for photo prints as well as picture books, and we have always been very pleased with the products. It is a great way to preserve family memories, and the site is so easy to use. I love getting Christmas cards from all of our family and friends, and cards with pictures are always the best.
