Life as We Know It: February 2009

Life as We Know It. Friday, February 13, 2009. Baking With the Measners. Afterall, Mom can have as many as she wants, as long as no one else catches her at it! They all stuck to the fingers again, so they need to be licked again! I know, now none of you will ever want to eat cookies at our house again! Hopefully some day my kids will love to cook on their own and will be calling me for advice just as often as I call my mom! Henry excited about baking and licking his sprinkle-covered fingers. Isabelle jus...

Life as We Know It: Children's Museum Trip
http://measnerfamily.blogspot.com/2009/03/childrens-museum-trip.html
Life as We Know It. Thursday, March 26, 2009. Sure, you've got your treadmills, your TurboJam, even (I'm told) work-outs on the Wii, but if you REALLY want to get your heart racing, check out the Children's Museum with three kids in tow during peak hours! Last Thursday, the kids and I headed to the Children's Museum with our playgroup friends and their kids (5 moms and 10 kids). In two words: fun and CRAZY! I've got Hailey over here! Story time with Elmo. Henry meets Grover (Isabelle was scared). So, aft...

Life as We Know It: December 2008
http://measnerfamily.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Life as We Know It. Monday, December 29, 2008. The Most Wonderful Time of the Year. Well, here it is . . . my first blog entry! I'm a little surprised at myself for entering into this realm, but I'm excited that I'll have these entries, pictures, and stories to remember when these moments in my life are gone. (I always think I'll remember all the wonderful things that happen to me, but most days I can't even find my wallet and keys! Are you sure Santa came? The rest of the day was spent at church at St&#...

Life as We Know It: Time (or lack thereof)
http://measnerfamily.blogspot.com/2009/11/time-or-lack-thereof.html
Life as We Know It. Friday, November 13, 2009. Time (or lack thereof). I was finishing up some stuff on the Internet tonight, and thought I'd check out Blogger and my friends' blogs. After enjoying their stories, I clicked on my own blog and saw that very pathetically, my last entry was in March. It was fun going back and reading those entries that I made last winter, but I truly don't know where I found the time to write them! November 16, 2009 at 12:04 PM. I really enjoyed reading it. Wish you were here.

Life as We Know It: Where have we been?
http://measnerfamily.blogspot.com/2009/03/where-have-we-been.html
Life as We Know It. Thursday, March 12, 2009. Where have we been? Okay, so I know I've been really MIA lately. So, what have the Measners been up to? I was going to write a list of things we've been doing, but I just decided I'd dole them out in small doses over the next week. Hope you enjoy them as much as I'm enjoying the Leinie's 1888 Bock I'm drinking right now! So glad you are finally back! I look nearly every day to see if you have anything new posted. I love to read it. March 13, 2009 at 9:19 AM.

Life as We Know It: The fire is so delightful.
http://measnerfamily.blogspot.com/2010/01/fire-is-so-delightful.html
Life as We Know It. Thursday, January 14, 2010. The fire is so delightful. Our kids love the fireplace. It's especially handy for warming up a bit after being outside or after a bath. Recently, Isabelle (our budding photographer), decided a fireside photo shoot was in order, and they all had to pose in front of it. And what could possibly be better than snuggling up by the fire while wearing your PJs at 11 in the morning? We're not biased or anything, but have you seen a bigger bunch of cuties?

Life as We Know It. Thursday, March 12, 2009. Our Girl is 4: "We are so glad you've come! On the day you were born the Earth turned, the Moon pulled, the Sun flared, and then, with a push [many, many pushes], you slipped out of the dark quiet where suddenly you could hear . . . A circle of people singing with voices familiar and clear. Welcome to the spinning world,' the people sang, as they washed your new, tiny hands. Welcome to the green Earth,' the people sang, as they wrapped your wet, slippery body.
