Major League Ramblings: Ramblings: Iwakuma, Putz, Collins
http://majorleagueramblings.blogspot.com/2010/11/ramblings-iwakuma-putz-collins.html
Monday, November 22, 2010. Ramblings: Iwakuma, Putz, Collins. Arizona Interested In Putz. The Oakland Athletics and Japanese pitcher Hisashi Iwakuma. Are far away in negotiations, and the 30-day window that was granted for the sides to accept a deal does not seem to be long enough to sort out the problems. Iwakuma has reportedly wanted a deal modeled after Barry Zito. S absurd 7-year $126M deal, so there is no way Oakland will get to bring in the imported pitcher at the price. View my complete profile.

Major League Ramblings: November 2007
http://majorleagueramblings.blogspot.com/2007_11_01_archive.html
Friday, November 30, 2007. The Washington Nationals have acquired yet another tool-filled outfielder, this time acquiring 22-year old Lastings Milledge from the New York Mets in return for veteran catcher Brian Schneider and 29-year old outfielder Ryan Church. Milledge has superstar written all over him, hitting .272 with 7 HR's and 29 RBI's in 184 at-bats last year with the Mets. His defense is sub par, but moving to center field he might spend a little extra time working with his fielding skills. Relie...

Wednesday, October 31, 2007. Reds Pick Up Dunn/Hatteberg. Cameron To Be Suspended 25 Games. Tuesday, October 30, 2007. Yankees Might Go After Miggy. Makes complete sense for the Yankees, as he's definitely hall-of-fame caliber and still extremely young. He's also the only third-baseman that is somewhat available, enjoying a stellar .320 34HR 119RBI season with the lowly Marlins. Many Options Declined Around Majors. A quick flurry of options were declined today, so let's recap the action. Curt Schilling a...

Read analysis on all things baseball through the eyes of a Minnesota Twins fan. Wednesday, August 31, 2005. The Eve of Expansion. Do they shine forever? Plus, there are so many other storylines worth watching. Here are my four favorites, in ascending order or favoritism:. 2 Scott Baker carrying both the Twins remaining hopes and my fantasy team. Major League Ramblings: Free-Agent Predictions: Part 3
http://majorleagueramblings.blogspot.com/2010/11/free-agent-predictions-part-3.html
Monday, November 8, 2010. Free-Agent Predictions: Part 3. I hope you guys are loving these as much as I am! The powerhitting should-be-DH does not want to DH, which limits the list of clubs he will draw interest in. 35 HR bats are hard to come by nowadays, and my prediction here is a clean cut re-sign with the Washington Nationals. They will finally give him the fourth year he is yearning for. 4-years $48.5M. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Fullerton, California, United States. Florida Marlins Close ...

Monday, May 14, 2007. Gary Matthews has also prospered, just not in the spot he thought he would be in. The Angels played Matthews Jr. in the 4th spot, protecting Vladimir Guerrero. Matthews is hitting .303 with 6 HR and 28 RBI. He combines this with 7 SB's and is looking worth every penny the Angels handed over for his duties. The play of these two teams have given the Angels an offensive surge, winning 5 of their last 6 games, going 22-17 overall. KC Recalls Angel Berroa. Sunday, May 6, 2007. The Oakla...

Saturday, October 30, 2010. Arizona Interested In Konerko. The strike-out loving Arizona Diamondbacks are expressing heavy interest in first-baseman Paul Konerko (who was previously with the Chicago White Sox). Konerko hit .312 with a whopping 39 home-runs, and had an overall terrific year in his contract year (who would've thought right? It also looks like Adam LaRoche will be bought out for $1.5M instead of making $7.5M next year. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Fullerton, California, United States. Lance ...
