Thursday, January 13, 2005. I mean, when does that button begin to look enticing? And just how incredibly lazy have we as a species become? Why don't more people scoff at those button? So, I'm a bit of a hypocrite today, but I really want to minimize stress on this rib in any way possible. Also trying to minimize laughing, sneezing, or coughing. Ugh. Posted by equipoise at 1:37 PM. Tuesday, January 11, 2005. The bus rocks my world. Why do I love the bus, you ask? Posted by equipoise at 5:28 PM. Just anot...

Tri-als & Tribulations: October 2007
http://tstorms.blogspot.com/2007_10_01_archive.html
The trials and tribulations of an average endurance athlete - balancing life - while searching for purpose. Wednesday, October 17, 2007. My Rainbow Amidst Clouds. I guess you could say I'm "Living out dreams in honor of those who can't.". I went to see Maya Angelou last night. Her message was an important one - be someone's rainbow amidst clouds. I guess, simply put, Tracy was my rainbow. Thursday, October 11, 2007. Monday, October 1, 2007. They have NO Clue! We so do need another dead carcass on our wall.

The Impossible Thrill: 2004/11/28 - 2004/12/05

Sunday, November 28, 2004. Thanksgiving by the numbers. 10 kids (run amok). 3 dogs (not on the menu). 1 bottle of moonshine. That night, my sis (who is now a high-powered attorney, but still bike-commutes) and I stayed up chatting until like 2am which was quite fun. Too bad my brother didn't make the journey from AZ to join in on the Thanksgiving fun. Can't say I blame him for staying home. Posted by equipoise at 9:21 PM. Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States. IMOO - A Year Early: December 2008
http://imcda09.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
IMOO - A Year Early. Thursday, December 18, 2008. Turning off the Frontage Road and on to the on Ramp. That's where I am now. I'm not quite on that highway, the Road to IM CDA 09, but I'm on the on ramp. After a welcome break I'm starting to ramp up the training a bit. Making sure I make it to yoga 2x week, getting on the treadmill (or outside when it's not in the single digits) and st. Arting back on the trainer. Tuesday, December 2, 2008. Better Late Than Never . . . Maybe. Anyhow, I told Tracy she was...

IMOO - A Year Early: May 2009

IMOO - A Year Early. Wednesday, May 27, 2009. Now with Ironman Killing Capabilities! As a Clydesdale triathlete pursuing Ironman distance dreams, shoe replacement is a critical issue. At 215 pounds (or more most days) shoes break down quickly. For the past couple of years I've been in the latest incarnation of the Brooks Adrenaline GTS. I survived the introduction of the GTS 8 so I thought nothing of it when it was time for new shoes and the GTS 9's were introduced. What the literature didn't include:.

IMOO - A Year Early: August 2010
http://imcda09.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
IMOO - A Year Early. Wednesday, August 25, 2010. One week Before It's Over. A training blog post? Am I in the right spot? Well, in fact it is a training post. With starting up the coaching business and putting in the training for Ironman Wisconsin, I haven't spent much time talking about the journey. My legs are feeling pretty beat up and my energy is sagging. In other words training is going perfectly! After Sunday it's all about charging up for September 12. Looks like the Sherpa plans are coming toget...

Friday, December 31, 2004. Putting the fun in dysfunction. I've been meaning to blog my holiday experience w/the family, but my sister beat me to it. She's composed a (quite elegant) description of the dynamic in our family. And how we three siblings cope within that dynamic. Since she's captured it so eloquently, I'll leave it at that for now. Posted by equipoise at 2:49 PM. Wednesday, December 29, 2004. If only I could look this cool . Posted by equipoise at 11:46 PM. Monday, December 27, 2004. Great, ...

Friday, January 21, 2005. Search engine hits #2. Within the last 24 hrs, three people have stumbled upon my humble little blog while doing internet searches for the following . Search #1: impossible sit up. I wonder if this. Is the site they were actually looking for? Search #2: faux woodgrain tools. Yikes My mom gets into some crazy home "improvement" projects sometimes, and I could imagine her accidently stumbling onto my blog with a search like this! Search #3: photos golf holes impossible funny.

Thursday, November 18, 2004. My butt is cold. Posted by equipoise at 9:57 PM. About 2am last night, I was awoken by a loud crash, much like breaking glass. I lay awake for a few moments, thinking "hey, that sounded like it was in the building, but what would make a sound like that? Perp was borderline incoherent, he didn't know what they were talking about. Now, this could have been either alcohol, or a concussion, or who knows, maybe both? The irony is that I had just gone out to dinner with my friend J...
