August 21, 2012. We had quite the weekend full of major long walks and subway rides! First off let me just say that I don't mind the subway except for the fact that is smells strongly of urine, and there is no airflow to speak of. Ugh. Gary's brother Rick came to visit us this weekend! We did make sure to stop at Sprinkles though and get ourselves the best cupcakes EVER! My favorite is the red velvet. February 25, 2012. Oh how I love to ski! Don't I look happy in this picture? I'm so excited to get on the slopes and ski my day away! Fast forward 10 years to my second experience on the slopes. I seriously was so giddy I'm sure I was annoying as heck on the car ride. We made it to the beginner slope so I could get used to skiing again. I did great! I went down a couple times and didn't fall once. My confidence level was phenomenal! So we went to the next hardest slope. By this time, my confidence had.

January 5, 2012. I didn't feel like a mom the day that Dori was born, and I didn't feel like a mom after 1 or 2 or 3 weeks. And 2 months later, I still don't think I know exactly what it means to be a mom. I'm learning though! I love her cuddles and her wiggles, and I love when she stops drinking her bottle half way through to smile at me for no reason! We went on a cruise to celebrate Gary's graduation. Dori stayed with family for about 9 days. Thanks everyone for helping out! Gary finished the brick path! Jumping on the trampoline with Uncle Dan. My family went to St. George to celebrate my dad's 60th birhtday. Dori learns to crawl. We both knee boarded in Bear Lake. 9 Months Is She!

August 8, 2012. This is the apartment we have been at for the past 2 days, and will stay the rest of the time we're in Chicago. The lobby, complete with Doorman. Lee is my favorite so far! This isn't our exact kitchen, but it's just about the same with a better view of everything. The patio right outside of the gym, pool, and theater. We could barbeque if we wanted! The amenities room with the pool table and theater. Dori is getting used to it though and she doesn't jump every time a train comes.
