ETT PA-C: May 2008
http://ettpac.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html
Saturday, May 3, 2008. Thursday, May 1, 2008. Let me preface this as this is an ironic joke. I don't want anyone thinking my normal level of PTSD has been elevated to an intolerable degree. Truthfully, my PTSD is from dealing with fairly incompetent leadership more than the few TICs I've been in while over here. Frankly, the Taliban are easier to deal with. You just shoot em and its over. Everyone sleeps well. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Pinky and the Brain. 7 Say it loud, say it proud! LT Sekula innocen...

It's time for me to 'fess up! 1) I have been lurking on this blog while a buddy of mine was an ETT over there as well, and your updates have always been informative, entertaining and thought-provoking. 2) I have had a Habakkuk week and thought I was the only one, until I was reminded of your friend's useful insight. So thanks, and thanks again! May 18, 2008 at 9:23 PM. 1LT M...

I've been home for more than 7 months now and its been great! 160;How does one end a saga, ehhem, such as this? 160;Can I end it knowing that I'll probably have to return back to this place? 160;It's a question that remains to be seen? What will I come away with? To the teams we left behind, good luck and God speed. May He go with you as He did with us. To the spirits of those who gave the greatest sacr...Man in the Arena.

ETT PA-C: October 2007
http://ettpac.blogspot.com/2007_10_01_archive.html
Tuesday, October 30, 2007. So, sometime in my recent past I was able to go on another village medical outreach about an hour from my new location. Turned out that it was a village surrounded by a refuge camp with approximately 12000 families. If you know anything about families in Afghanistan, that's like 10 dudes with 10 wives a piece and a few thousand kids running about the mine fields like no big deal! Something in my lane.injections! We had to turn away what was approximated to be 1000-1500 people f...

http://ettpac.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 30, 2008. It was bound to happen. Anyone for a week delay in country? What more can I say? Sunday, April 20, 2008. No, not Pink Floyd or the Runner's. Not the Chinese Great one or your local bar. Not the Wailing Wall or the Vietnam Memorial one. Not the Berlin Wall or the one in New York that causes us great pains at the gas tank. Not Hadrian's Wall or the one's that fell around Jericho (albeit they may be closer than I think). Not even Fenway's Green Monster or the Wall of Troy. 160;It'...
