Eeyore's Mission: Visiting a refugee camp
http://eeyoresmission.blogspot.com/2008/05/visiting-refugee-camp.html
Monday, 26 May 2008. Visiting a refugee camp. Over the last couple of weeks, the tensions between the South Africans and the foreigners have come to a head. The black South Africans have been accusing the foreign black Africans of stealing their jobs. In response, the South Africans have been looting their shops, raping the women, attacking people, even setting them alight in an attempt to drive them out. Around 50 have been killed so far. Making sandwiches; loads of food has come in from the locals.

Saturday, 1 November 2008. Update on the 'fugees. The government came yesterday to pull down the Blue Waters Refugee Camp. We were concerned about where the refugees would end up living and worried that they would be forcefully removed from the camp.
