Tuesday, February 22, 2011. Why Weren't Schools Closed Today? If you look at a list of all the school closings, you'll see that every surrounding county has cancelled school, except for us. A most of you have seen by now, Montgomery County will do whatever it can to get a couple hours of school in. A lot of you have yet to be plowed and it's nearly time to head out to school. Is why the rating remained at 4 Pencils, and never moved up to 5. Tuesday, Feb 22, 2011. There will be a two hour delay today.
