Ben studied Graphic Design and Filmmaking at Central Saint Martin’s School of Art from 1987 to 1990, specialising in model animation, prior to that he had attended a Foundation course at the Central School of Art and Design. He seemed to be following the family path as his late father David was not only a talented painter but also a gifted designer. His mother Jenny still works as a portrait painter and illustrator.
