Review: 1/48 Airfix P-40B Warhawk. For years, I’ve wanted a quality 1/48 P-40B Warhawk kit. I built the old Monogram offering as a kid, and while it’s still able to be built into a nice aircraft, it just doesn’t compete with modern CAD-designed kits. The Trumpeter kit suffers from some inaccuracies such as the shallow cockpit, and Bronco’s release earlier this year has the same issue.
