Slightly Left Of Center: Why Is This An Issue?

http://moderatelyleftist.blogspot.com/2005/03/why-is-this-issue.html

Slightly Left Of Center. Political and Social Philosophy and Ranting from someone you don't know and probably wouldn't like anyway. Saturday, March 12, 2005. Why Is This An Issue? At the risk of offending almost everyone, I felt I had to bring this issue up. As most people are in America, I'm generally a pro-choice advocate, but in sort of a lazy way. The truth of the matter is that as a male my reasons for being pro-choice are generally selfish. To put it bluntly, I simply don't care. Are dying in Iraq.

Slightly Left Of Center: And then there were... How many?

Slightly Left Of Center. Political and Social Philosophy and Ranting from someone you don't know and probably wouldn't like anyway. Sunday, March 13, 2005. And then there were. How many? A computer programmer walks into a bar early one afternoon. He bellies up to the bar orders two drinks, downs them quickly and orders two more. The bartender says, "Hey buddy, you look like something's bothering you." The guy looks up at the bartender and says. But here's a novel approach- why not keep the jobs here?

Slightly Left Of Center: February 2005

http://moderatelyleftist.blogspot.com/2005_02_01_archive.html

Slightly Left Of Center. Political and Social Philosophy and Ranting from someone you don't know and probably wouldn't like anyway. Sunday, February 13, 2005. So what's the point? As many argue that history has a tendency to repeat itself, I can't help but to only somewhat (and very begrudingly) agree that this may actually be the case if we follow the trends of the Roman Empire. America, like Rome, grew from fairly humble beginnings (OK, Rome wasn't ruled by the king of England, but give me. Caesar neve...

Slightly Left Of Center. Political and Social Philosophy and Ranting from someone you don't know and probably wouldn't like anyway. Sunday, February 13, 2005. Straight Out of Fargo. I love this guy! Read this article and check out his show. I'm usually the pessimistic type when it comes to the way the democratic party is run, but "Big Eddie" Schultz gives me hope that common sense may actually make it back into the Democratic party. Often read, rarely updated. Tuesday, February 8, 2011. Where Will This Middle Eastern Upheaval End? Tunisia has transformed. Egypt appears to be on the brink. Jordan, Syria, and Yemen could be next. The wave of revolution looks to be spilling across the Arab world. Where will it stop? The simple answer and the correct answer in this case are the same. While short term the answer may well by Egypt, long term this revolutionary wave stops as soon as it reaches an oil producing country. Additionally, oil pr...

The boy doesn’t hand it over to Jesse. Instead, he lays the passport flatly out on the ledge for Jesse to pick up. Jesse takes the passport, What brings you to Canada? Jesse begin...
