Dispatches from the domestic frontline. Well, despite the hard times, we have managed a little holiday – a week at my mum’s in Norfolk, half with her there, half with her gone. Perfect. Less pain, more colour. Posted on September 5, 2009. We have been here nearly three months, and the summer is almost gone, and the days are drawing in. This morning we had some fine weather and the the four of us were out in the garden. Digging and burning stuff, two of my favourite pastimes. There are a lot of brambles around.
