After reading some discussions about OPA2604 vs. LT1057 I realized that I had to try what happens if I change the four filtering op amps to LT1057 (originally NE5532, now OPA2604). Friday, April 20, 2007. Tube Rolling For SV-236. For quite some time I had planned to change tubes in my Vincent SV-236. However I was not quite sure what I was looking for, not until I heard my friends Exposure set. I then realized what I have been missing in my system: excellent fast rise-time of the sounds, timing and altogether what is often called PRaT. Saturday, October 21, 2006. Finally soldered some 1uF Wima bypass caps for the electrolytes and smaller value discs for the electrolytes near the ICs. Saturday, October 21, 2006. Then I ordered some Auricaps for the output and HDAM feedback circuits. I also replaced the remaining NE5533s with OPA2604s.
