Last few days in Australia were spent in Darwin not doing much. Felt completely touristed out and simply wanted to go 'home.' So I just hung out with these lovely ladies, went to food markets, fed wild possums, went for a morning run, sat in cafés and slept on the beach (well more like tried. To sleep on the beach). Not a bad view to wake up to. Now that's what I call a good camping spot! Walmadan Camp - the heart of the force against the gas hub. I will miss the sunsets of the Australian west coast.

Ferried it across to Rottnest Island this morning. Absolutely amazing day! Our own little private beach. THE MOST INCREDIBLE THING! We saw a massive sting ray! It was just cruising along the beach! When it turned around I got into the water and just tapped it a bit thinking I'm being an idiot there is no way it's going to come to me but IT DID! When it was about one or two metres away I thought holy shit what am I doing? And got out. Oh my it was just such an amazing experience! Steve the Sting Ray.

What a great turn-out! I am thrilled to have seen so many people come out and join us to stand up against Monsanto. Apparently over 2 million people have marched in cities around the world. Yesterday a few of us met up at Hyde Park for the Kimberley film festival organised by the Wilderness Society.
