When people hear I got a new job, the most common question I get is "so, how many hours a week is that? I understand the question - they're trying to grasp what the time commitment is and how big a job this is. It's a really tough question to answer because the hours involved don't quite reflect the reality of the job. Full time? 12 hours - maintenance practicing. 10 hours - music prep. 38 hours - total.
