Sunday, May 3, 2009. Team Magically Delicious, you ask? Now, here's a good story! A few months ago, Deb, Alicia and I decided to sign up as a relay team for the Smith Mountain Lake Sprint Triathlon. Backing up a few weeks.at first I thought.1/2 mile swim, 20K bike, and 5K run? No sweat, I can handle all of that on my own.sign me up! Needless to say, I failed the "assessment" miserably, because I just really don't know how to breathe correctly when swimming free style. Deb obviously chose one for us late ...

Tuesday, November 18, 2008. A Little Mexican Fiesta. Last night we made authentic Mexican cuisine, with the help of Scott Porter. We made two types of salsa.one that would make anyone breathe fire, except for Scott! We also made homemade corn tortillas, guacamole, carne asada, chicken, chili and lime soup (an interested experiment), refried black beans, and plantains for dessert. I love cooking! Thursday, June 5, 2008. Home for Hayley and Sam's Birthdays. This Memorial Day weekend, in stead of the annual excursion down to Duck, NC, I decided to fly home to Chicago to spend a little QT with my sisters and parents.and most of all, the nieces and nephews. Hose to spend that w. Meeting my newest nephew, Devin Abraham, and participating in the birthday parties of Sam (6) and Hailey (4). As usual, I had such a great time with the kids, Beth and Emily and their spouses, and mom and dad!

Life with 5 girls and a boy. Monday, September 14, 2009. This is my dearest Grandpa! Smart as a whip, healthy as a horse.and I love him more than I can express. His goal is to live at least to 100 years of age, just like his mom did. If anyone can do it, he can! Did you know this guy had his own BIG BAND for 70 years, playing his saxophone for thousands of dances? He was even featured on 60 Minutes! I wish you the happiest of birthdays, Grandpa! Can't wait to see you in a few weeks.

A few weeks ago Emma decided that she wanted bangs. Miranda felt up for the job. The older sister always does. I know because I have 4 of them. This sister cutting is something I swore I would never allow in my house and this is why. I grew up a product of the"Sister Stylist" Here is the sad proof.
